The Gender and Development Office (GAD) was requested by the Cooperatives and Livelihood Development Department (CLDD) to provide a resource person for the seminar on Mainstreaming on Gender and Development and Strategic Planning to twenty-two participants from eight cooperatives yesterday, November 07, 2024, at France Pio Resort, Brgy. Pansol, Calamba City.

The seminar covered key topics such as Gender Sensitivity Training, Mainstreaming and Strategic Planning, and Empowerment Through Cooperative and Livelihood Support.

The seminar is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to promote gender equality and incorporate gender-sensitive approaches across various programs and policies. It also aims to foster a more inclusive environment, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to implement strategies that support equal opportunities and participation for all genders within their respective organizations.
