Talatala, Administrative Officer III, of the Gender and Development (GAD) Office was invited by the City Social Services Department (CSSD) to be the keynote speakers for topics such as Violence and its effects on Women and RA 11313 known as ‘Bawal Bastos Law,’ which provides insights into the current situation of women in society.

The seminar highlighted the importance of understanding different forms of violence, including physical, emotional, sexual, and economic abuse, and their impact on women’s lives. Additionally, it addressed the regulations aimed at protecting individuals from gender-based sexual harassment (GBSH) in public spaces, workplaces, schools, training institutions, and online platforms.
