A seminar for Gender Responsive Leadership was conducted by the Gender and Development Division under the Office of the City Mayor to the officers of the People’s Organization for Wo-Men Empowerment and Responsive Development (POWERED).

The POWERED officials were provided with basic training to capacitate and prepare themselves for greater responsibilities in the future.

The organization aimed to create knowledgeable and participative leaders that will sit at the table to be the voice of the voiceless, provide a vision and direction to vulnerable groups, motivate, and inspire the poor, and promote a conducive environment to the needs of marginalized sectors.
