Through advocacy talks, participants from the Sangguniang Barangays, youth leaders, and women’s organizations were equipped with knowledge about Republic Act 9262, also known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004. This law aims to empower women to fight for their rights and to break the stigma surrounding violence.
